Banque du Caire opens its doors in more than 95% of its branches all over Egypt to offer the taxes and customs electronic payment service. The service is offered to BdC customers and non-customers from individuals and companies to provide them easier payment procedures and to help them avoid the risk of carrying cash money.
Mr. Mounir El Zahed, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Banque du Caire stated that the taxes and customs electronic payment service offered by the bank provides the customers with immediate and safe payment experience of their taxes and customs from any of BDC branches without being limited with geographical aspects.
El Zahed added that the service helped more than 4600 companies and individuals to pay more than 355 million Egyptian pounds taxes starting from 2013 and till April 2014. Also, more than 3308 companies and individuals paid their customs during the period from January till April 2014 to reach 118 million Egyptian pounds.
The electronic payment service of taxes and customs at BdC delivers immediate payment of taxes and customs and helps customers avoid payment delay fines and goods are released by customs rapidly. In addition, it offers a variety of payment methods: availability to pay from customer’s account or cash payment.
